I was able to spend some time with my dad today, since I wasn't able to see him after surgery. He was in recovery much longer than expected due to the drop in his blood pressure. He was moved into his room around 2 this afternoon. He is tired and in a lot of pain, but his spirits were much brighter. ( he was not a happy camper when he woke up after surgery, but who would be after undergoing what he did?!? ) His sense of humor is still well intact, and he will keep the nurses entertained, I'm sure! His pain level is still pretty high, but he has a medication button with him so he can give himself a dose every 10 minutes if needed. Hopefully we will have the results from the biopsys by Friday, but it could very well be Monday. If he gets some sleep tonight and his blood pressure goes up some, they will get him up a bit tomorrow and get him moving around a little. Aaron is ready to get him better so they can spend some more time at the Air Force museum, which is their favorite hangout. That is all I know for tonight, I will see him again tomorrow. Please keep praying for his healing and over his test results!!!
i will be praying for your dad and that he receives good news from the biopsy. i will also pray for a speedy recovery. i love ya and miss you and make sure you take care of yourself as well.
