Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! Dad Update #5

Well, this is day #9 for him at the hospital, but I can see improvements happening every day! The past few days he has been up and about using a walker, and I can see that he is getting stronger as the days go on. He is no longer using any oxygen, and his cath is out, and he is quite happy about that! :) He is eating soft foods and his back pain has really gone down. Yesterday morning the Dr. was thinking that there might be some infection in his colon, but he did so well overnight last night that they are now thinking that he does not have one, thank goodness! All in all, things are getting better, I am hoping he can go home in a week or so. He is about ready to escape, it is making him crazy! Thank you for your prayers and support to us during all of this! It has been hard, but God is good!
