Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Dad Update #3

Dad was moved out of ICU today and moved into the surgical recovery unit. His blood pressure is normal and steady so I am glad about that. They put in a PICC line today to give him nourishment. He hasn't eaten in almost a week, and won't get to eat for a while longer until he starts to heal. The lack of food has made him weak, so I am hopeful that this will help. He is tired and uncomfortable, but is talking with us and joking around some. We are still waiting for the pathology reports to come in, please keep that in your prayers, we are praying for a good report that the cancer did not spread. I may not be able to get to the hospital tomorrow depending on the winter weather moving in tonight , but I can call his nurse for updates. Thank you for praying!
