Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Yes, I Now Have A Personal Jeweler

Aaron and I went to Ashland on Sunday to spend the day with Aunt Paula and Don. We had so much fun, and I hate that I forgot to take my camera along! They took us to Donato's lunch buffet, which is delicious, and I will not disclose how many slices I had! They took us to a beautiful park, with ponds, picnic areas, ball diamonds, and best of all, putt putt and ice cream! Aaron and Don wanted to play ball, so Paula challenged me to putt putt. We played and laughed, and in the end there was no challenge, because we tied! Great players play alike I guess! :) After playing ball, Aaron played a round of putt putt and then it was time for slushies and ice cream. We spent the rest of the day at their condo visiting, while I looked though Paula's newest jewelry creations. She recently started making jewelry, and it is all so beautiful. Each piece is different with so much personality. She let me pick out a necklace ( isn't is awesome? ), and she sat there as we chatted and made me 2 pairs of earrings. She made me another set as well for my birthday last month, and they are all gorgeous and I love them! Our visits always seem to go too fast and we miss them already!
