Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

New Laundry Center

I just had to share the new laundry center that Greg made for me in the basement. He searched around on Craigslist amd found the 2 cabinets, they were new and only $30! Next, he stopped at Menards and found the countertop in the scratch and dent section for only $33, and all he had to do was trim one end of it down to make it fit. So, for under 70 bucks and my husband's creativity, I have a huge place to fold laundry and store a ton of stuff! I understand that this may not be exciting to most people and you may be saying to yourself that I need to get out more. That may be true, but I love anything that makes my daily chores easier, and I also love things that are frugal! That, and it looks very lovely in my laundry room! Thanks Honey, you are the best!!! :)

  3. This is great Jill! We who have to do our own laundry appreciate convience! Don't let those drawers become "junk" drawers! That's so easy to do. I keep a coffee can down on my table and any money that I find goes into that can. You can't believe what I've collected in one year!
