Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Soccer Opening Day

Aaron's soccer opener was this past Saturday. It started with the parade ( he is second from the left with his arm up ), and then opening ceremonies. They have won their first 2 games so far. He is not enjoying soccer as much this year, he has a somewhat difficult coach that is really taking the wind out of his sails and the fun out of the game. It upsets me when these coaches forget that they are 10 years old, and just want to have fun playing. I am praying that the situation improves as the season goes on, but I don't have my hopes up for it. I just want him to enjoy working as a team and have a great time! :)
