My "baby" is a 5th grader. It simply blows my mind! He started back yesterday, and so far is happy with his classes. He has 2 teachers this year, and spends half a day with each one. One of them I got to know last year as I helped out in her class. She is delightful, and also a Christian! :) The other teacher is young and fun, and seems laid back. The Lord is looking out for me as I still struggle with my wanting to homeschool him. Being in school is important to Aaron, so I am trusting God to lead him and to guide him. I am still adjusting, but I know that I need to "suck it up" and let God lead this. He always does so much better than I do, and I have to remind myself to get out of God's way and let him work without my interference! :)
Another change in our house is that Greg has been moved off of his regular schedule, and will be the new detective. He will also have a regular work schedule, working Monday-Friday on dayshift! I am super excited to have him home every evening!!! It will also be great having Greg and Aaron on the same schedule. I think I am more excited than Greg is, I pray that this is a good change for him. Right now it is until the end of the year, but could become longer if needed.
