Several weeks ago I entered a picture on Ohio Magazine's facebook page in a contest, and won 4 passes to Cedar Point! We had never been before, so we decided to go up yesterday. It was HOT, but the sun was shining and the park wasn't crowded at all, since we waited to go until most schools were back in session. Aaron loved Camp Snoopy, and he rode most all of the rides there. The one ride in Camp Snoopy that Aaron and I rode together went up in the air and spun around, Aaron was terrified and held on to the middle post for dear life. I laughed so hard that I cried! I think he is alot like me on those rides, it makes him sick to his stomach! LOL! We all rode the ferris wheel, drove the old fashioned cars, and rode the train. I also love the pic of Greg and Aaron at Camp Snoopy when they are at Lucy's help desk! And by the way, Greg thought it would be funny if I gave Charlie Brown that kiss. It really looks like I am, but I am only faking it, and Aaron looks disgusted about the whole thing! Greg tackled 2 huge coasters, 2 of the biggest I have ever seen. One went up into huge corkscrews, and went 72 mph right out of the gate! The Dragster ( Greg is waiting for it to get started in the pic , and the next pic after that is him going straight down ), is the freakiest coaster I have seen, going around 70 mph out of the gate, and straight up, then straight down in a corkscrew over the water. Even my thrill seeking hubby said it was crazy! The park is huge, and in the 7 hours we were there I don't think we saw it all. But, we were to exhausted to see any more, so we headed for home. Except for going to see the Cedar Point Lighthouse, which my sweet hubby took me to see right outside the park. It was beautiful, completly built in stone, restored by Cedar Point in 2000. If you love amusement parks, this is the place to go, with everything to do and more, but a hefty price tag comes with it!!! I am more the more laid back type, and Put in Bay or Kelley's Island is way more my speed! But, I am grateful for the free passes to enjoy the day there!
