Aaron and I went to Louisville Friday and Saturday to spend some much needed time with Sherri and her family. Her Greg ( we are both married to Greg's and we also have Aaron and Erin, so it can get confusing from time to time! ) went hunting for the weekend and my Greg stayed home to do some projects around the house. Her older girls, Erin and Lauren, were off doing "big kid stuff", like going to the movies and football games, but I did get to see them for awhile. They are simply beautiful and are so much fun! Aaron loved his time with Makenna, she is one of his dearest friends and she is such a wonderful girl. Kate, who is 4, is such a precious thing, she liked following the older kids around and also hanging out with me and Sherri. Little Ty was fighting a lousy runny nose, but was still full of smiles! It was so wonderful to see him healthy and happy, he has battled so much in the past few months! I just love his neck and thigh rolls, he is a pumpkin! Sherri and I wonder why thigh rolls can be cute on a baby, but not on anyone else? It would sure make my life easier if it were considered to be just adorable on adults! Sherri and I stayed up well past our bedtimes to talk and laugh and just enjoy girl time together! She is so hospitable and treated us so well on our visit, it sure didn't go unnoticed! We are so fortunate to have them as friends, they are such an incredible blessing to our family!!!
