Me, Lacey and Aunt Paula rung in the new year together. Greg had to work the midnight shift, but thankfully it was a slow night for him! We ordered pizza and had a quiet evening in. The kids had noise makers, glow necklaces, and silly string to bring in midnight. As soon as the ball dropped, they hugged me and Paula, and ran into the basement for a silly string fight! Thankfully they cleaned it up, too! :) They had a blast!
We all had brunch today with my mom and her husband Jeff, and Paula went back to their house to spend the rest of the weekend with them. Aaron and I had planned on spending the evening with Sherri, Kristin, and their families, but Sherri and Ethan are sick. We are all so bummed! So, a quiet evening will start off our 2011.
I am praying for a quiet, peaceful, and happy year. 2010 brought so much change to our family, and unfortunatly an abundance of sorrowful times. Praying that the Lord sees our hearts and our need for peace. I have been paranoid that maybe He had mistaken the name Jill for Job! LOL! I wish all of you a wonderful new year!!!
