I love a deal. I mean, I really love them! There is nothing better than getting great quality and getting it cheap. I wouldn't say that I am a "cheap" person, or "miserly", but I think "frugal minded" fits me pretty well! I have been inspired by Sherri and Selena talking about great homemade recipes for detergant and peanut butter and different garage sale finds, so I thought I would share mine for the week. First, we replaced all of the hardware on the kitchen cabinets. The old stuff was just, well, ewwww. I searched around and found what I liked, and then looked on ebay. At Lowes, the handles were around $4 a piece, and I needed 25 of them. Ouch! But on ebay, I found them for 1.75 a piece, with free shipping! So for all 25 it was around 43.00! Love it! ( in the picture, the old handle is on the left, new on the right) Also, today I had a coupon for Big Lots, 25% of your entire purchace. I was all over that! And when I walked in the store, there was a lady selling Dayton Daily News subsciptions. I am not a fan of the paper, but the coupons are good. If I signed up for 3 months of the paper, which was $30, she would give me a $10 Big Lots gift card. Woo Hoo! We need lots of snacks and stuff for our upcoming vacation, so I stocked up. Everything from a Burts Bees gift set, to olive oil, chocolate chips, 4 boxes of organic mac and cheese, large storage bowls, 3 boxes of cereal , socks for Aaron. The cart was full, and I spent $66 and change. It feels so good to save money!!! Now, If Greg only knew that I took pictures of our groceries to show you, he would be certain that I am nuts.....

Our husbands do think we are nuts! I love that about us! I like the simple, clean lines of the new hardware.
