Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Christmas With Mom And My Sissys

On the 27th we had my Mom and her husband Jeff, Jenny and her family, and Allie and her friend Cameron here for lunch. I figured everyone was getting tired of ham, so I made a big pot of chili and cornbread, with lots of munchies and finger food. We all relaxed and watched the Bengals, munched too much, and opened more gifts! I am enjoying my gift from Allie right now, which was a bag of Starbucks Christmas blend coffee and a beautiful mug. Aaron got a Peyton Manning jersey from Nana that he put on right away! Our visiting ended a bit early when the snow started coming down, so everyone could make it home before the roads got slick. We have one more Christmas left, tomorrow we are meeting Lloyd and Bev for dinner at Outback, and I am looking forward to that! It has been a very busy holiday for us, but I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and I have loved getting to spend time with each one of them.
