Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Recent Happenings!

Things around here have been crazy busy lately! Aaron has started soccer, and that is 2 days a week. He seems to enjoy it, and his games will start in a few weeks. School starts for us on the 20th, and it has somehow caught me off guard this year. I have most of his books ordered, so we should be good to go! Dad is taking his cancer treatments, and he is doing well with them. The only real side effect is that they make him tired. Thankfully, there is no sickness or hair loss, so I am thankful for that! Me, Dad and Jenny are still planning our Put in Bay trip for the end of August, I can't wait! My mom will be undergoing a uterine biopsy on Friday to check for uterine cancer. Chances are slim, but the Dr.'s want to rule it out as the reason for her health problems. Please keep my parents in your prayers. I have also been harvesting a TON from the garden, and all of the canning and freezing has kept me busy. The apples will be ready soon, so I can make lots of applesauce for Aaron, Baby Kane and Baby Terah! Greg's work is going well and keeping him busy. He has to take some extra time off this month or he will lose that portion of his vacation time, so it will be great to have him home a little more. Well, that is the current happenings at the May homestead...
