This is an easy, yet effective all purpose cleaner that is all natural and non toxic. I keep a bottle of it under my kitchen sink at all times! You will need -
~ an empty spray bottle
~ white vinegar ( disinfects )
~ your choice of essential oils. I prefer to use either lavender, tea tree, or a mix of rosemary and mint. The oils have antiseptic and disinfectant qualities.
Fill your spray bottle half way with the vinegar, then top it off with water. Then add your essential oils. I add 15-20 drops, depending on how strong I would like the scent to be. Put the sprayer on the bottle, give it a gentle shake, and you are ready to clean! It works great on my counter, sink, even grease on the stove. It smells fresh, and kills germs. And it is all natural, no chemicals! And I love that!

I saw someone use self leveling concrete to create a kitchen countertops. I liked the color and look they got out of the box. My concerns are if there are any special properties/chemicals in self leveling concrete which might make it unsafe for use in a kitchen countertop.
ReplyDeleteIt would probably be a good idea to test this cleaner in a small area if you are unsure of how it would react with your counters, or leave out the vinegar for a milder cleaner. I am not sure how it would react with the concrete, but I do know that vinegar isn't good for marble, the acid will damage it. I have laminate counters and it works great on them.
