Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Put In Bay

Our trip to Put In Bay was wonderful as always!!! Me, Dad and Jenny worked hard at relaxing and finding the best food on the island. It was a tough job, but I will sacrifice and do it! The weather was cool but nice. Dad and I both burned our faces and look like lobsters. ( Speaking of lobster, the bisque was wonderful !) Jenny didn't burn her face, but she burned her ears, which looked pretty funny! :)She did well being away from the baby, it probably felt good to get some uninterrupted sleep. Jason sent pics of the baby quite often, including this one that he photo shopped to make him look like he is on a jet ski! What a talented nephew I have, on a jet ski at 3 months old! None of us were quite ready to come back, it was nice kicking back and hanging out together. We did debate throwing my car keys into the lake so we would have no way home, but I figured that I would have an unhappy husband pick us up, so we opted not to do that. I don't know about them, but I am already planning next years trip to the Bay...
