Greg's birthday gift to me this year was to take me to Lake Erie, which is one of my favorite places! We started off in Marblehead for lunch, and a tour in the Marblehead lighthouse, which was a highlight for me! Next, we took the ferry to Kelley's Island. We toured the island by golf cart and checked out the beach and the glacier grooves. We also checked out the shops and the harbor area. It was such a pretty and peaceful island! We spent the night in Port Clinton, and headed to Put In Bay for the day on Friday. We went to the top of Perry's Monument, had lunch at the Boardwalk ( YUM! ), played putt putt, toured the island by cart, and went on a tour of South Bass Island Lighthouse. Aaron really liked the ferry rides, and didn't want to come home! Neither did I!!! We had a wonderful time and it was a great get away. Thanks Greg, I love you!!!
