Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! Aaron's 10th Birthday


I have been completely neglecting my blog, so I thought I should put on an update! Aaron turned 10 last Wednesday! Sigh. Double digits! He is growing up and changing so quickly these days. He is hilarious, and is quite the joker. Actually, Joker has become his new nickname at school! Why did I have the feeling he would be the class clown??? :) He got an Ipod shuffle from me and Greg, and Red's tickets for this Saturday, in which it is supposed to get down to 30 degrees. It will feel more like a football game instead of baseball! He had his birthday party at Thunderbowl this past Saturday, and had a great time bowling with friends Aaron, Ethan, Derek, and Lacey. Lacey also stayed most of that weekend with us. I think he had a fun birthday weekend!
