Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Happy Easter!

Man vs food - Man won!!!!

I love Easter ~ The celebration of the risen Savior!!! Before church, Aaron got his basket of goodies, which had some candy, a dvd, and a remote control car, which he likes to drive the cat and dog crazy with! Then he had an egg hunt here in the house. After church, we went to Lloyd and Bev's for a meal of bbq ribs ( they were soooooo good! ), a big egg hunt for all of the kids, and then a kick ball game in which most of the grown ups were quite sore afterwards! (not me, I prefer to cheer from the sidelines! ) Sharon and her family were there, along with Dan and Daniel and Chris and Denise and their kiddos. It was Terah's first Easter, and it was fun to watch her hunt eggs. We also got great pics of Lloyd and Bev with all of their grandkids except Brooke, who was at work. Chase wore his basket on his head, in which I have threatened to put on Facebook!!! Chase ended up taking little Adam's rubber alligator at one point during the day, and war broke out among the kids. They chased Chase with sticks, ball bats and bottles of water! This lasted for quite awhile, until all of the kids were either soaked, in trouble, or crying. Actually, the grown ups found it to be funny, since no one got hurt, and Chase survived the incident. I think he know now not to take toys from a 5 year old, unless you want war!!! Little kids ban together!!!! The weather was so beautiful, and it was a wonderful day with family.
