Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Dayton Skyline

Dayton Daily News had a downtown photo contest, and this was the winner. I just thought I would share it, it is such a pretty picture of Dayton with all of the fountains going! It's no downtown Cincinnati mind you, but we do still have a pretty skyline! Now for a few updates...Jenny has been having some contractions, but nothing too regular. She will be induced on Tuesday if he hasn't made his arrival yet. I am anxious for him to get here! I know Jenny is too, she is so uncomfortable! :( My Dad had a follow up colonoscopy and he is healing very well. He will be able to have his colostomy removed in around 4 weeks! Hooray! The Dr. also found a small hernia, which he will remove at the same time. Dad is not looking forward to another week in the hospital, but the outcome this time around will be so much better!!!
