Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter! He is risen! We spent our Easter by having a breakfast at church, church service, and then a quiet day at home. Usually we are on the run from place to place on the holidays, so it was nice to just kick back at home. Aaron got an Easter basket from the Easter bunny, and had an egg hunt. The egg hunt took awhile because we couldn't find one of the eggs...oops! Aaron's excitement of the day was his "big catch". He has a small animal trap that he keeps out in the yard, and for the last 2 years he has been trying to catch any type of critter that he can and hasn't caught a thing. Well, this morning before we were leaving for church, he looked out the window to see that he had his first catch...a bunny! So, on Easter, Aaron caught the Easter bunny! I hope everyone got their eggs and baskets before we held the bunny hostage!
