Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! Dad Update

I recieved a call around 6 pm this evening from Ellie, telling me that my Dad had suffered a heart attack, and that he was in the hospital. I was in shock to say the least! Praise God, it was a mild heart attack, and he suffered little to no heart damage because he recieved treatment so quickly after his symptoms started. They ran a heart cath, and found an 85 - 90% blockage of 1 artery, so a stint was put in. I saw him afterwards, he said he felt great and was ready to go home! But, he will need to stay in until Friday just to watch for complications.He is also on chemo and radiation right now, so he really has a lot going on. Please keep him and Ellie in your prayers, and I will keep the blog updated on anything new. Through it all, God is good!!!
