Well, we are home from our trip and we had such a great time!!! The weather was great, sunny and anywhere from the upper 60's to mid 70's. There was one rainy day, so we drove to Pensacola and went to the National Naval Air Museum ( Selena, have your kids been there? ) Aaron loved it, there were several different fighter jets to sit in. He got into each one and pretended he was in air battles shooting down other planes! We spent a lot of time on the beach, just relaxing. Greg and Aaron played a lot of football, while me and Aaron played with badmitton rackets playing what he calls "birdie". It felt good to play outside again! I walked the beach several times, just spending some time in prayer and looking for shells. That is my favorite thing to do there, it is very peaceful. We were able to have great seafood while we were there. We had dinner at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, which was a highlight for me!!! We were also able to stop in Louisville on the way home yesterday and have lunch with our great friend Sherri and her girls. We have missed them so much and I am glad we were able to spend some time together! But, now we are home to face the rest of winter. Yuck!!! Thank you to our neighbors, Amy and Chelsea, for keeping an eye on the house and on Garfield. And, today is my dad's birthday, Happy Birthday Dad!!!
looks like you all had a great time. no i have not taken the kids over there to the museum, we always plan to but never have. i know they would love it. i am happy that you had a safe trip home.love ya miss ya
