Welcome to our homestead! Our home is a fun one, full of love, laughter, and downright goofiness sometimes! Check in on us as we tend to our rural 2 acres, raise our 11 year old son, fight fires and chase bad guys! ( That's just Greg, I'll stick with the gardening and cooking! ) We pray that we honor the Lord in the process, as we strive to grow in His grace.

2008 Wrap Up

It is hard to believe that 2008 is already coming to a close. It feels like it just began! Aaron grew so much this year, not only physically, but in every way it seems like. He does very well in school, he really enjoys math and history. He loves nothing more than to play baseball with Greg, or to talk about WWII planes with Grandpa or Uncle Jason. Sometimes I can't seem to keep up with everything he knows! Greg has had a busy year at work, but I am thankful he works for such a good department. Oakwood has been a real blessing to us! We took a few trips this past year, Panama City Beach back in February, one to Chicago and the Lake Michigan dunes with Greg's step brother and family, and a weekend in Hocking Hills. I took my annual trip to Put in Bay with my Dad and sister Jenny, it is always a blast!!! There is also a lot to look forward to in 2009! I will become an aunt 2 more times from my sister Jenny and my niece Brooke, I am looking forward to these babies! My friends Sherri and Kristin will also be having babies this upcoming year, so I have several showers to get ready for! To start off the new year my Dad will be having colon cancer surgery, and I will keep you all posted on his progress. I wish to all of you a blessed and healthy 2009!
